Our Team
Dione Floyd, PhD, LPC-S, AAMFT Approved Supervisor
I’m an easygoing, caring, and compassionate clinician who wants the best for every client.
I know life can place real obstacles in your path, and having people in your corner matters. With a PhD in Marriage and Family Counseling, licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S), and recognition as an AAMFT Approved Supervisor, I strive to see the best in people and be a light when things feel dark.
I work with individuals, couples, blended families, and adolescents on concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger, loss of identity, relationship issues, abandonment, and the effects of sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.
I welcome all clients—regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or gender—and provide a respectful, inclusive space. There are no one-size-fits-all shortcuts in therapy. I tailor my approach to your needs, drawing on systemic and evidence-based practices to help you move toward healing, connection, and purpose.
Clinical Supervision
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor. I provide clinical supervision for LPC and MFT interns, practicum students, and associates, offering a supportive, structured space to strengthen clinical skills and professional identity. I offer online weekly individual and group supervision, with a focus on case conceptualization, effective interventions, ethical and legal decision-making, documentation, and culturally responsive care. My goal is to help supervisees grow in confidence and competence while providing high-quality services to clients.

Syreeta Miller, LPC
One of our deepest longings is to be heard. I’m here to listen.
Life shapes our beliefs about family, relationships, education, and work—yet in the process, we can lose sight of our own needs. When self-care fades, misunderstandings grow, emotions run high, and isolation or helplessness can follow.
My goal is to meet you where you are, understand your world, and help you navigate the challenges in front of you. Together, we’ll build practical tools to support your well-being and move toward a life grounded in purpose and understanding. I offer a safe, compassionate space for you to share your story and begin healing. One step at a time—that’s all I ask.
Let’s take the first step toward relief from stressors, mental health concerns, and addictions, and toward a healthier, more connected life.

Jasmine Peterson (Intern); Supervised by Dr. Dione Floyd, LPC-S
I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student at the University of Phoenix, and I’m deeply committed to supporting individuals and families as they navigate their mental wellness journeys. My training is grounded in client-centered care, cultural humility, and trauma-informed practice, with a strong belief that healing happens best in a safe, compassionate, and collaborative relationship.
Before entering the counseling field, I worked in education and organizational leadership. Those experiences strengthened my communication skills, deepened my empathy, and taught me how to connect with people from many different backgrounds. They also shaped the way I show up in the therapy space—listening carefully, creating a supportive environment, and helping clients feel understood as they work through life’s challenges.
I’m excited to continue growing as a clinician, apply evidence-based counseling skills, and contribute to a team committed to empowering others and promoting mental health in our community.
Karen Moore (Intern); Supervised by Dr. Dione Floyd, LPC-S
I’m currently in my final year of my Master’s program at National University, working toward becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist. I’m also a proud graduate of the University of North Texas at Dallas—Go Jaguars! I earned my BA in Arts and Sciences with a double major in Psychology and Sociology.
I’m a mother of three and a “Lolli” to an adorable grandson. My passion for this work grew from my own family’s journey. After raising three teenagers and learning that each of them experienced mental health-related challenges that contributed to anxiety and other concerns, I saw firsthand how the right tools, support, and communication can make a meaningful difference. That experience continues to shape the way I show up for clients—with patience, compassion, and a strength-based focus.
In my clinical work, I’m especially drawn to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Structural Family Therapy, and my personal favorite, Narrative Family Therapy. I enjoy working with younger generations and supporting them as they build healthy coping skills, confidence, and positive ways to express themselves.
Outside of counseling, I have a strong love for water and I’m a certified lifeguard. I also enjoy reading and singing karaoke. Looking ahead, I hope to advance my education and bring mental health tools into middle school or high school settings—helping students learn skills that support well-being and create positive outlets for growth.
